DMS participated in the 7th Debt Management Conference organized every two years by UNCTAD. The conference provided a regular forum for sharing experiences and exchanging views between Governments, international organizations, academia, the private financial sector, and civil society on current issues in debt management. The conference was held from November 9-11, 2009. Walton Gilpin, Adviser Debt Management - represented DMS at the Conference.

It brought together senior-level national and international debt managers and experts from around the world to discuss some of the most pertinent topics in both external and domestic debt, debt management and public finance today. More than 250 participants from over 70 countries, as well as senior representatives of international and regional institutions participated in the last Conference, held in November 2007.
